Heavenly Morsels

Here is a recipe that I stumbled across today. These"Heavenly Morsels" look exactly how they are described, "Heavenly".  The other great thing about this recipe is that there is only four ingredients needed to make them. My initial thoughts were that the girls would love these because they love smores, but the more I think about it I bet grownups would like them just as much.(wink)

I found this recipe from "The Girl That Ate Everything's" Blog. This is a food blog that is constantly pumping out wicked recipes. I love this girls taste! Check it out!
Ingredients:
  • 16 whole graham crackers (about 3 1/4 cups crumbs)
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
  • For S'mores version:
  • mini marshmallows
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line your baking sheets with parchment paper. This is a must! Otherwise they will stick.
  2. In a food processor, crush the crumbs into fine crumbs.
  3. In a large bowl, add the crumbs, sweetened condensed milk and chocolate chips. Stir well to combine making sure everything is incorporated.
  4. Using a cookie scoop, scoop even tablespoon sized balls onto the parchment paper. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Let the cookies cool on the cookie sheet.
  5. For the S'mores version: After scooping the cookies onto the parchment paper, push 2-3 mini marshmallows onto the top of each cookie. Bake and cool according to the directions.

We are going to be spending some quality time with the kids this weekend (enjoying our Heavenly Delights).  We are unplugging so that means I will be stepping away from the blog for a few days.

Hope you all enjoy the long weekend. Be safe and have fun!
